Higham Hurtle 2025
This year’s Higham Hurtles start at 7pm on Thursdays 24th April, 12th June, and 21st August. Registration is from 6:15pm at Higham Cricket Club (S75 1PH).
The race is run under UKA Rules for Competition (EA Permit 29216). The race entry limit is 300.
If you like a scenic 5 mile race, with a few hills, this is the race for you. The race is mainly on trails and starts & finishes at Higham Cricket Club. You can enter individual races, or the series. If you’re a member of UK Athletics, the price of entry is reduced.
The minimum age for entry is 16.
Online entries for races 1, 2, and the series are now closed. You can still enter race 2 on the night at the race HQ. Online entries for race 3 are still available.

Parking is in the field next to the Cricket Club. There is no parking at the Cricket Club for runners.
Please do not park on the main road in Higham.
No headphones of any type to be worn by competitors during the event.
Enter the series for £18 if you’re a member of UK Athletics. If you’re not, the cost is £24. Entry to individual races is £7 for members of UK Athletics. If you’re not a member, the cost is £9.
Modest prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall & 1st in each age category outside the top three
